Getting started - What options do I have? |
|
Careers in the Landbased engineering sector are really broad ranging
The key to your success will be the training you receive after you have left school and venture to your chosen college. Apprenticeships are the backbone of the engineering sector. Earn while you learn is the phrase usually given to the process. Whether it is a full time course you undertake or a part time course, the knowledge you gain provides you with a really solid foundation for your future.
There are a couple of options available to you to study; full time courses and part time courses. Full time will involve the Diploma in Landbased Technology certificated by Edexcel. For more information: click here
Part Time courses will involve you studying your N/SVQ Level 2 / 3 in Landbased Service engineering certificated by City & Guilds either on day release or on ‘block weeks' depending on the college you choose.
